Who am I?
Welcome to my website!
I’m Jo Willetts, a returning artist with more than twenty years experience.
I happily spent the first forty three years of my life in the UK’s ‘Black Country’, in the West Midland towns of Halesowen and Stourbridge. In 2005, we had an apportunity to move our family to New Zealand and have called this beautiful country home ever since.
Living in rural Morrinsville in the mighty Waikato region, I draw inspiration from the rural landscapes and wildlife that surround me in this stunning country.
I specialise in realism, capturing the beauty of animals and landscapes using pastels and acrylics. You will notice that I have a special interest in big cats!
Explore my gallery, where each piece reflects my deep passion for nature and our amazing world. It’s out there, we just have to open our eyes to see it!
I welcome commissions, please feel free to contact me via this website to discuss your art ideas.
